Paid Time Off (PTO)*
PTO accrues for full-time employees per pay period beginning with the first day of employment at a rate of 4.93 hours per pay period (equals 16 eight-hour days or 128 hours annually). After your first year anniversary, accrual increases to 6.16 hours per pay period (equals 20 eight-hour days or 160 hours annually).
Accruals increase after your five, 10, 15 and 25 year service anniversaries. PTO hours are prorated based on number of hours worked for part-time status (.4 FTE minimum). PTO is carried over year after year and can accumulate up to 400 hours.
Sell Back PTO Provision
Sell back election is available on an annual basis on a graded scale:
- Zero to three years service:
50 percent of shift/prime rate - Three to five years service:
75 percent of shift/prime rate - Five+ years service:
100 percent of shift/prime rate
Extended Illness Bank (EIB)
Full-time employees accrue 88 hours annually, at a rate of 3.39 hours per pay period up to a maximum of 440 hours to be used for an employee’s medical leave of absence. Accrual is prorated for part-time (.4 FTE minimum employees).
Holidays
Seven holidays are recognized including your birthday. Hours are distributed as eight hours per holiday for fulltime employees and four hours per holiday for part-time (.4 FTE minimum) employees.
Holiday Time Off (HTO) Bank
For non-exempt employees, you can choose to bank your holiday hours to use at a later date. Requests are made through Payroll.
