Bellevue Medical Center’s long awaited gift shop is now open to patients, staff, visitors and the public.

Bellevue Medical Center marketing specialist David Larrick says the hospital’s staff and the community are equally excited for the opening.  “Our team has done a great job of combining input from our staff with the experience of our gift shop partners to bring a unique offering to our patients, visitors and employees.” 

The new gift shop, which will operate under the name Re:source, will carry a variety of traditional offerings including convenience items and foods such as candy bars, chips and sodas along with gifts including plush animals, greeting cards and flowers.  Games, books, sunglasses, travel mugs and the popular Willow Tree® and Precious Moments® figurines round out the store’s offerings.

One of the unique lines, says maternity services manager Kris Wheeler, will be the breast pump rental program.  “Re:source will be the only place in Bellevue, and one of just a few in the entire metro area, where new mothers can rent breast pumps.”  The store will also offer a variety of breast feeding supplies to go with the pumps.

Customers who are unable to visit the store in person can send items to patients by calling 402-763-3051.  Phone orders are limited to credit card purchase only and include free delivery to patient rooms.
